Being with family is the something that keeps many seniors going. Unfortunately, it’s been difficult to meet up or travel over the past few months.
Two seniors in Tampa, however, are getting creative and branching out.
Lindsey Boetsch at TheDenverChannel.com writes that “Chuck and Robyn live in Tampa with one of their daughters, the other three live in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Colorado.”
Chuck and Robyn wanted to visit their daughters but say air travel was”out of the question” – and Facetime just wasn’t cutting it.
They decided to give RV’ing a try. They initially rented one and soon “liked it so much, they bought their own.”
Chuck and Robyn had often traveled by air. Since they took to the road, they gained a new appreciation for the parts of the country they’d only flown over before.
Boetsch writes that they’re glad to not only get to skip the airport, “but they’re staying in a much safer environment.”
