2024 is expected to be a big year for travel. The travel booking site, Kayak, has released its list of travel trends and says Asia will still be a popular destination while Africa is now seeing its moment in the sun.
But the best piece of news is that travel here in the United States will become more affordable.
According to an article by Travel & Leisure, domestic airfare prices are predicted to drop 16 percent in 2024 compared to 2023. The average cost of a flight should be $461. However, international airfare is expected to jump 10 percent next year.
Flights are not the only place where travelers should see significant savings. Hotel prices are anticipated to drop 9 percent, while car rentals are expected to decrease by 14 percent year over year.
