The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has very strict rules on what you can and cannot bring on the plane. Obviously, agents are screening for weapons at the TSA security checkpoint. As part of that, there is the 3-1-1 rule, which restricts liquids and gels to travel-size containers (generally under 3 ounces). That’s why water and soda bottles are prohibited.

But, according to Southern Living, there are some items you’d think would be banned that are perfectly fine to pack.

The article lists some of the more obscure items included on TSA’s official “What Can I Bring” List, and here are the five strangest items, in our opinion:

Antlers – You are welcome to fly with antlers in your carry-on bag, provided they will fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.

Lightsabers – Good news, Star Wars fans, you can pack a toy lightsaber in your carry-on.

Live coral, fish and lobster – You’re not allowed to bring a bottle of water through security, but apparently TSA has no problem with you bringing a clear transparent container of water if you are transporting live coral, fish, or lobster.

Tattoo guns – If you think a tattoo would be a great souvenir from your trip, you’re in luck. Tattoo guns are permitted, but tattoo ink must be less than 3.4 ounces to follow the 3-1-1 rule.

Parachutes – Flying is perfectly safe, but if you feel you want a parachute, you can bring one. However, it should be packed separately from other baggage, and TSA may need to inspect it.
